GENERAL
These terms apply to all purchases made via the website www.thegoodstatement.com, owned by Frederikke Thiberg CVR No. DK-41173556, Store Strandstræde 14, 3, 1255 København K, Denmark. By placing your order, you confirm that you accept the Terms of Trade as they exist from time to time. Frederikke Thiberg, therefore, recommends that you read the Terms of Trade carefully. Frederikke Thiberg can amend the terms at any time with effect on future purchases.
PAYMENT AND PRICES
All prices on www.thegoodstatement.com are stated in Euro (EUR) including VAT. Before you confirm your order, you will be shown the final price for the order including shipping costs. Payment can only be made via the secure payment form on the website. THE GOOD STATEMENT accepts payment via: Paypal, Visa and Mastercard. The amount will not be debited until the order is shipped. You will receive a purchase receipt via email. Your payment is processed safely, and THE GOOD STATEMENT encrypts your card information via SSL (Secure Socket Layer). This means that only Paypal will have access to your payment information.
DELIVERY
THE GOOD STATEMENT offers delivery via Shipmondo. Delivery can be made to selected European countries and will be made to the address or delivery location you provided when completing your order. Shipping costs depend on the shipping method selected and will be detailed on your order. We are trying to ship all orders as fast as possible. All orders in stock are shipped within 2-3 business days; if your order has not been received within 10-14 business days, please contact our Customer Service via hello@thegoodstatement.com. We will then investigate the matter via our ordering system and, where necessary, with the giving delivery service. THE GOOD STATEMENT is not liable for any delays caused by the delivery company.
COMPLAINTS
The purchase of goods is governed by the Sale of Goods Act provisions regarding defects, including regulations regarding complaints. This means that you enjoy 24 months right of complaint from the time of delivery if the product purchased has a defect, e.g. a production or materials defect. You must submit your complaint within a reasonable period after discovering the defect. A complaint submitted within two months of noticing the defect will always be considered to be timely.
If you want to make a complaint, all you have to do is to write to THE GOOD STATEMENT hello@thegoodstatement.com and give as much detail as you can about the matter. You can choose whether you want the item to be repaired or replaced. Refunding the purchase price is only possible, however, i) if the defect is significant, or; ii) if repair or replacement is not possible or would lead to disproportionate costs to THE GOOD STATEMENT. If the complaint is justified, THE GOOD STATEMENT will refund any reasonable return shipping costs. If your complaint is not justified, you must pay the return shipping costs yourself, including any costs incurred by THE GOOD STATEMENT concerning returning or examining the item. Remember to always return the item in appropriate packaging. You are liable for the item until it has been received by THE GOOD STATEMENT. You should therefore retain the shipping receipt, including information about shipping costs and any track & trace number.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must provide us with an unambiguous statement to the fact that you wish to cancel the purchase, for example by sending an email to hello@thegoodstatement.com. You can also use the standard cancellation form at the end of these terms, but this is not mandatory. The deadline for the right of cancellation has been met if you send us the notice of cancellation before the deadline. Exercising the right of cancellation inside the first 14 days after delivery
According to the Consumer Contracts Act, you always have 14 days’ right of cancellation time, counting from the date on which the item is received. If you wish to cancel the purchase, you must notify THE GOOD STATEMENT no later than 14 days after the date on which you receive the item. If the cancellation deadline falls on a national holiday, a Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or 31 December, the cancellation deadline will be considered to expire on the following business day.
Exercising the right of cancellation from the 15th to the 30th day after delivery. THE GOOD STATEMENT offers an extended right of cancellation of 30 days from the date the item is received. If you wish to cancel the purchase, you must notify THE GOOD STATEMENT no later than 30 days after the date on which you receive the item. If the cancellation deadline falls on a national holiday, a Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or 31 December, the cancellation deadline will be considered to expire on the following business day.
Please note that if you wish to cancel your purchase between the 15th and the 30th day after delivery, the following limitations to the right of cancellation will apply: Only one free return/replacement is available per order. If you wish to return/replace an item which you have already had replaced, you will therefore be required to pay the associated costs (9 EUR).
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
When you have notified THE GOOD STATEMENT via email that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you will need to hello@thegoodstatement.com. Returns are at buyers own expense. The item is then shipped to THE GOOD STATEMENT warehouse. The item must be returned no later than 14 days from the date on which you notify THE GOOD STATEMENT that you wish to cancel your purchase. The deadline will be considered to have been met if the item has been shipped inside 14 days after sending the notification to THE GOOD STATEMENT. It is important that your name and address are included to make it possible for THE GOOD STATEMENT to find the order in the customer records. The return should also be marked “return”. It is important that you carefully pack the item for return, as you are liable for the item until it is received by THE GOOD STATEMENT. Please enclose any packaging and product tags. THE GOOD STATEMENT recommends that you save the shipping receipts. When you wish to cancel a purchase, THE GOOD STATEMENT will refund the payment to your account as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after THE GOOD STATEMENT has been notified that you wish to cancel the purchase. THE GOOD STATEMENT can, however, withhold repayment until the returned item has been received or you have submitted documentation for returning the item. The refund will be made to the same means of payment used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed. You will not be required under any circumstances to pay any fees in connection with the refund.
THE COMPANY’S OBLIGATIONS AND RIGHTS
The buyer will always receive an order confirmation when making a purchase. The order details are stored by THE GOOD STATEMENT for 5 years. It is not possible to access the order confirmation via www.thegoodstatement.com. If you would like a new copy of the order confirmation, please instead send an email to hello@thegoodstatement.com.
RESERVATIONS

THE GOOD STATEMENT accepts no liability for minor production variations (max. +/- 1 cm) relative to measurements stated (under “sizes”) for each individual item. THE GOOD STATEMENT also accepts no liability for items being out of stock or for typing errors on the website.
